Universal Orlando Update On Favorite Wizarding World Event
Universal Orlando resort attraction, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has had its ups and downs. Prone to a host of problems in its early days of operation at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s roller coaster has rehabilitated its image in more recent years.
Unfortunately, it looks like not-so great news has hit this thrill ride yet again, as apparently the currently closed pre-show area for the attraction has no reopening date in sight.
An eager fan requesting an update on whether or not Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure would restore its pre-show experience is what kicked this whole matter off.
Alas, beyond the seemingly indefinite closure of Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventures’ pre-show, there’s no other information on why this closure even took place. However, there is a bit of speculation to that point, as other reports seem to cite the ever-lengthy queue for the coaster as the reason for this particular removal.
While it’s probably nowhere near the insane 10-hour waits Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure originally incurred, anything that could keep the lines moving is probably a welcome change.
Harry Potter-based experience has a pre-show that fans would be asking about. In order to really set the mood for this crazy journey into the Forbidden Forest, there’s a small pre-show that shows Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) and Arthur Weasley (Mark Williams) preparing some magical motorbikes for the journey ahead.
New Halloween Horror Nights 31 Merchandise
Welcome to a gray, spooky day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s been an exciting morning, with announcements for Halloween Horror Nights dates and tickets going on sale. When we arrived at the park, it was very overcast, so we decided to quickly make our way into the parks before the rain starts.
Making our way towards CityWalk, we spotted the Mardi Gras tree looking pretty bare. The branches are looking kind of empty now, but there are still a few beads hanging. The circle of life.
The large, open holes above the entrance of the now permanently closed Shrek 4-D attraction have been covered with a board. This looks better than it did after they removed the sign.
We also found our very first pieces of HHN 31 merchandise. An ornament and a shirt are now available to remind you to “Never Go Alone.”
The Ube Bubble Waffles are seriously amazing. Even though we’ve been hyped for Halloween Horror Nights all day, Mardi Gras is still taking place for another month. We also stopped and grabbed some Yucca Fries from the food truck in New York. These are delicious and one of the cheapest items available for Mardi Gras.
It’s always busy in Diagon Alley, even if the rest of the park is quiet.
