Exclusive: Only Norman Osborn Can Save MJ's New Beau From Spider-Man's Dark Rampage

Spider-Man's rampage is heading for Mary Jane's boyfriend, and only Norman Osborn can save him in this CBR exclusive preview of Amazing Spider-Man #34

Spider-Man's dark rampage is headed for Mary Jane's new boyfriend, Paul, with only Norman Osborn, of all people, standing in his way in this CBR exclusive preview of next week's Amazing Spider-Man #34.

Amazing Spider-Man #34.comes from writer Zeb Wells, artist Patrick Gleason, colorist Marcio Menyz and letterer VC's Joe Caramagna, as it continues to follow the shocking new status quo for Spider-Man after Kraven the Hunter successfully extracted the Sins of Norman Osborn from Queen Goblin, and placed it into a spear. Kraven planned to stab Osborn with the spear, but instead, Spider-Man stepped in and took the blow meant for Osborn. The problem is that that meant that Peter Parker now is the current host for the Sins of Norman Osborn, which means that he is now very much NOT your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man anymore, and that is not good news for anyone who Peter Parker has a problem with, which includes his ex-girlfriend Mary Jane's current boyfriend, Paul.

SPIDER-MAN’S HUNT CONTINUES!

Who is Peter’s next victim?

The penultimate chapter of a story you’ll never forget!

32 PGS./Rated T …$3.99

In Amazing Spider-Man #33, this new, dark Spider-Man, hunted down Kraven, and tormented him the same way that Kraven (well, the original Kraven. The current Kraven is a clone of the one who died in Kraven's Last Hunt) once tormented him, including ending the issue by burying him alive. With Kraven checked off of his revenge list, Spider-Man's next victim is Paul, the man he believes "stole" Mary Jane from him.

The preview pages show Norman Osborn (who has become a heroic character since having his Sins magically removed from his body by the Sin-Eater) breaking into Mary Jane and Paul's apartment to warn them that Spider-Man is coming for them (well, he tries to explain that it is someone who is trying to make Spider-Man look bad). Mary Jane and Paul agree to leave, although Norman convinces them to avoid using the bridge (we all know why, right?).

Norman then waits in the dark for Spider-Man to arrive, thinking about the fact that this is basically his fault, as Spider-Man is now evil because he has the sins that were a part of Norman Osborn for years. At the end of the preview, Spider-Man shocks Norman by being in the apartment already, and boy, is Spidey in a disturbed state of mind right now. It's anyone's guess what will happen next with such an unhinged wall-crawler.

Amazing Spider-Man #34 is on sale September 20 from Marvel
