Mushoku Tensei: Season 2 Episode 11 Preview Shows That Sylphy Wants To Reveal Her Identity

Sylphy is afraid of not being recognized by Rudy if she reveals her identity in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation's new episode teaser.


Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has released a preview video for its eleventh episode titled "To You," which shows Sylphy wanting to reveal her identity.


Mushoku Tensei Season 2 released the preview video for Episode 11 on YouTube. The preview shows peaceful frames of Rudy, Sylphy, Ariel, and Luke interacting with each other. Sylphy narrates the video, musing about the consequence of Rudy's inability to recognize her upon the revelation of her identity. The synopsis for Episode 11 reads, "Fitz was actually a woman. There were signs when his ED was seemingly cured by touching her body. Rudeus finds hope in Fitz's presence, but he is troubled by the distance between them because she is pretending to be a man. Then Luke comes to visit. Meanwhile, Fitz receives a word from Ariel."


The description for the Studio Bind-animated Mushoku Tensei reads, "When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn't end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he's always wanted. Armed with new friends, some freshly acquired magical abilities, and the courage to do the things he's always dreamed of, he's embarking on an epic adventure — with all his past experience intact."


Why Sylphy is Conflicted About Revealing She is Silent Fitz


Rudy and Sylphy's tension around each other as of late has been because Sylphy has struggled with revealing her true identity to Rudy. The situation is awkward for Sylphy because she has to lie to Rudy, while it is confusing for Rudy as he's attracted to who he thinks is Silent Fitz.


Sylphy has reasons for being hesitant to reveal her identity to Rudy. She respects and admires him and is likely worried that she would get in the way of his personal goals if he knew who she actually was, further complicating things between them. Another plausible reason for Sylphy's hesitance would be her dedication to guarding the Princess, who ordered her never to take her mask off in public. The Princess' safety weighs heavily on Sylphy as she struggles not to reveal her secret to Rudy.
