Ke Huy Quan's Role In Loki Season 2 Revealed

Loki Season 2 producer Kevin Wright details Ke Huy Quan's quirky role in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Co-executive producer Kevin Wright has detailed Ke Huy Quan's role in the upcoming Loki Season 2.

The Everything Everywhere All at Once star portrays a Time Variance Authority (TVA) tech expert OB in the Disney+ Marvel series. In Loki Season 2, Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Owen Wilson's Mobius seek help from Quan's quirky repair character, OB, after trekking far in the TVA. OB works in a basement adorned with gadgets in the repairs and advancement department. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wright breaks down Quan's role. "His job is basically every piece of tech, every computer, everything that is running at the TVA. He either designed it, or he fixes it and keeps it running."

Quan won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in his role in the 2022 movie Everything Everywhere All at Once. Wright revealed that Marvel casting director Sarah Halley Finn suggested that the actor join the Marvel Cinematic Universe after his starring role in the hit movie. While the Loki team hastily made an effort to sign Quan, they found out that the Hollywood star was a big fan of Marvel and Season 1 of Loki. Quan also opened up about his Marvel fandom, which dates back to when Iron Man was released in 2008.

Kevin Feige revealed last year that the entire original cast from Season 1 of Loki would be reprising their roles. This means that viewers can eagerly anticipate more of Hiddleston as Loki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, and Eugene Cordero as Casey/Hunter K-5E. Additionally, Jonathan Majors will also return as Kang the Conqueror, a variant of He Who Remains. Quan is joined by some fresh faces to the MCU, such as Rafael Casal's mysterious role was officially unveiled in July. Kate Dickie of Game of Thrones fame will also grace Season 2 in an undisclosed character, which is speculated to be a villainous role. Furthermore, it remains possible that other Marvel characters might make appearances in the series from the growing Multiverse.

Loki Season 2 Sends Loki Through the Past, Present and Future

Loki Season 2 commences with our titular character embroiled in a fierce struggle for the very essence of the Time Variance Authority as the series picks up where Season 1 concluded. Teaming up with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a host of both familiar and fresh faces, Loki embarks on a dangerous journey through a Multiverse that continues to expand and grow more treacherous. Their mission: to locate Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and uncover the profound meaning behind the concepts of free will and purpose. In Loki Season 2, Eric Martin takes the helm as the head writer. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are the directors for the Marvel series. Returning to their executive roles are Michael Waldron, the head writer of the first season, and Tom Hiddleston. The impressive lineup of executive producers for Loki Season 2 includes Victoria Alonso, Louis D'Esposito, Kevin Feige, Tom Hiddleston, and Michael Waldron.

Loki Season 2 will premiere October 6 on Disney+.
